I feel sick because of games.

1 min read

Okay, so this might sound weird, but it's so true. So, when I play games like Minecraft or GTA VC, I feel sick, like I feel like vomiting, and it happens almost all the time. But when I play Clash Royale, I feel very comfortable. So, I was just done with these things, and I googled my behaviour and found out that this is game-induced motion sickness.

So, basically, my eyes are seeing a fast-moving character in 3D with a first-person camera view, but my ears are in a quiet room, so it confuses my brain that my eyes are saying the person is moving rapidly, but my ears are saying that the person is in a quiet room, so this conflict makes me sick. And honestly, it's not what games are for, they are for relaxing, but these games are making me sick. So, I just stopped playing Minecraft.

So, yeah, it was really uncomfortable. I just stopped playing Minecraft that I downloaded 2 days ago, and now I downloaded Clash Royale today, hehe. Clash Royale isn't 3D, it's 2D with a top view, so it doesn't make any conflicts in my mind. So, yeah, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
